Seriously good Baked Goods

At Ambrosia Corner Bakery we’re all about fresh, made from scratch products. We’re serious about good baked goods, and we want our customers to experience nothing but the best. We also craft in house made ice cream and bean to bar chocolate. Our foundation baked goods include kouign-amanns, babkas, sweet and savoury brioche, sticky buns, assorted bars, scones, brownies, cookies, muffins and baker’s pizza. Other specialty items vary week-to-week and with the seasons. The photos below are a sample of what you might find on a given visit to the bakery. Our pre-order form is updated weekly and open for orders from Sunday to Tuesday for pick-up/delivery on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Because everything is made from scratch, we need this advance notice to get your pastry perfect! You are also welcome to pop into the bakery Tuesday to Saturday between 9 am – 4 pm to see what delights you discover on our pastry counter!

DiD you Say Ice cream?

Just like all of Ambrosia’s products, our ice cream is made in house! And we don’t stop at traditional ice cream – we also craft vegan and sorbet options to satisfy all your cold treat desires! With new flavours being made all the time, you will always have new ones to try. Past flavour creations include chocolate (obviously!), salted caramel and pumpkin spice; or strawberry peach, blueberry lemon and cranberry orange sorbet, as well as vegan mint chip! Yum. What are you craving? (Remember, the online shop is open Sunday to Tuesday for pick-up/delivery the same week Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Or you can pop into the bakery Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am – 4 pm and see what we have in our freezer!)

Bean to bar chocolate

When it comes to chocolate, we want it to be the very best, and it just wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t make it ourselves! That’s why our chocolate bars are bean to bar, which means we’re there for every step in the process. We only roast fair trade organic cacao beans and we’ve perfected the correct roasting methods to highlight each specific beans’ characteristics. To make it fun, we name our bars for the country of origin where their beans came from. Curious about the difference between Peruvian and Dominican cacao? The flavours of our Peru 68% bar are light and delicate. You’ll find fruity tropical flavours with hints of nuts. Not only does our 75% Dominican Republic bar offer caramel and toffee, you’ll also find delicious hints of soft citrus in this dark chocolate. The flavours in our Belize 64% bar are velvety smooth – if you love creamy toffee, caramel and vanilla flavours, this bar is the right one for you. Our 66% Madagascar chocolate bar has the perfect blend of bright and mild fruity flavours! For the milk chocolate lovers try our 55% Ghana bar! Rich chocolate flavour with a hint of fruit and vanilla! Another milk chocolate treat, the 45% Nicaragua bar has notes of rich medjool dates and molasses.
